Global Network for Justice Initiatives - www.gnji.net

The Global Network for Justice Initiatives (GNJI) is an on-line community of lawyers, scholars, advocates and others around the world who are interested in issues related to the expansion of access to justice and the transformation of the legal profession and legal systems to make them more responsive to societal needs. Individuals who have registered with GNJI can use its features to share knowledge, ideas and resources, to engage in dialogue about matters of common concern and to collaborate on projects.

Blog

GNJI allows registered users to post short essays, comments, observations and images on the subjects covered by GNJI. These postings may report on recent news events or legal developments; present the blogger's views on current "hot" topics; propose best practices; suggest possible solutions to common problems; or elicit the views of others on interesting legal issues. By reading the blog on a regular basis, GNJI users can keep themselves informed about developments in their areas of interest and learn about new ways to deal with challenges they are facing. All bloggers on GNJI must be approved by the GNJI Administrator. We welcome inquiries from individuals who would like to become regular or occasional bloggers. Forums

GNJI also hosts a discussion forum. This forum allows registered users to share knowledge, ideas, expertise and documents and to get answers to questions from other community members. For a list of the discussion forum topics, please click here.

GNJI users can subscribe and unsubcribe to a discussion forum topic by editing their "Profiles." Any GNJI member can open a new "thread" within the discussion forum or participate in a previously opened thread. Each forum topic is moderated by an individual or individuals appointed by the GNJI Administrator.

Directory

The GNJI Directory sets out the names of registered members of the GNJI community. Information regarding a member's affiliation and location can be obtained by clicking on his or her name. The Directory also allows members to send private messages to other members, thereby enabling them to build relationships with one another and extend their networks.

Library: Coming Soon

The GNJI Library is under construction. It will house a variety of articles and documentation useful to GNJI members. All registered GNJI users are encouraged to submit documentation for inclusion in the Library by clicking here.
