New York City Bar Association to host:
Kick-Off Event to Mediation Settlement Day

When:

Networking Open House, 5:30 p.m. Presentation, 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Where: Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 West 44th Street (between 5th & 6th Avenues)
What: Annual kick-off event to Mediation Settlement Day

If you’re looking to learn more about mediation, this is a great opportunity. Join the New York City Bar Association for its annual kick-off event to Mediation Settlement Day. The Open House starts at 5:30 p.m., where you can speak with representatives from various dispute resolution organizations at information tables. The formal presentation begins at 7 p.m.

HON. MILTON MOLLEN, Counsel to Herrick, Feinstein LLP; Former Presiding Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department

The late Tina L. Brozman, Former Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge of the Southern District of New York will be recognized as the Mediation Settlement Day Frontline Champion for 2007.

The annual kick-off event is sponsored by the New York City Bar in association with FINRA Dispute Resolution, the New York State Unified Court System, and a coalition of over 100 alternative dispute resolution programs, bar associations, community based programs, schools, public and non-profit organizations concentrated in the New York City area and extending beyond to upstate New York, Illinois, and California.

About the Association
The New York City Bar Association (www.nycbar.org) was founded in 1870, and since then has been dedicated to maintaining the high ethical standards of the profession, promoting reform of the law, and providing service to the profession and the public.
