Legal Issues Confronting Aging Adults

A presentation on issues affecting New York City senior citizens daily, followed by a Q&A session with experts on the legal issues faced by the aging and free assistance with preparing health care proxies and living wills.

When: Tuesday, May 8th, 6:00 pm

 Where: House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street.

This program will cover a range of issues that New York City senior citizens face daily, and will also focus on caring for elderly parents. Key issues to be discussed are powers of attorney, living wills, health care proxies, guardianships and Medicaid planning. There will be a Q & A session and the Elderlaw Project of the City Bar Justice Center will have volunteers present to assist audience members in preparing free health care proxies and living wills after Clifford Meirowitz's presentation.
