Free Legal Information Fairs

Coming To Your Neighborhood

The Legal Referral Service, sponsored by the New York City Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers’ Association, is holding a series of free legal information fairs throughout New York City in observance of National Law Day.

The fairs will travel to four New York City boroughs between May 1 st and May 4 th, and will offer residents the opportunity to learn about their legal rights, receive material on legal topics, and consult with experienced attorneys free of charge. Community leaders and representatives from local bar associations and other organizations will be on hand to answer questions and provide information.

Lawyers will be ready to provide advice on such issues as landlord/tenant disputes, immigration, discrimination, small claims court, victim services, consumer law, small business concerns, and more.

There will be free legal clinics at the following dates and locations:

Tuesday, May 1 st at 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Manhattan – Foley Square Park
(Downtown Manhattan at the intersection of Worth & Centre Streets)

Wednesday May 2 nd at 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Queens – Queens Civil Court
89-17 Sutphin Blvd.
(On Sutphin Blvd. & 89 th Avenue , Jamaica , Queens)

Thursday, May 3 rd at 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Brooklyn – Brooklyn Borough Hall
209 Joralemon Street
( Cadman Plaza , at Montague & Court Streets)

Friday, May 4 th at 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Bronx – Bronx Supreme Court Plaza
851 Grand Concourse
(At Grand Concourse & East 159 th Street )
