The Legal Referral Service, in cooperation with the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York County Lawyers’ Association, is holding a series of free legal information fairs throughout New York City in celebration of National Law Day. The series culminates with a special Manhattan appearance on Friday, April 30th at Foley Square beginning at 11 a.m.

The media is invited to this public event, which is designed to give citizens easy access to free legal advice on every area of the law. The fair will offer New Yorkers the opportunity to learn about their legal rights, receive material on legal topics, and consult with experienced attorneys free of charge.

Community leaders and representatives from local bar associations and other organizations will be on hand to answer questions and provide information. Lawyers will be ready to discuss issues such as landlord/tenant disputes, immigration, discrimination, small claims court, victim services, consumer law, small business concern, and more.

Please post this event in your newspaper or television calendar.
