The New York City Bar Association is now soliciting nominations for the Twenty-first Annual Legal Services Awards. Sponsored by the Legal Services Awards Committee, the Association will present up to five awards to winners working full time in providing direct civil legal services to low income clients. The Association will honor the winners at a reception in May.

People eligible for this award are:

• Attorneys who have, for an extended period during their career, devoted themselves full time to the direct provision of free civil legal services to indigent persons.

In addition, the Legal Services Awards Committee will consider making an award to:

• Nonlawyers who have, full time and for an extended period during their career, devoted themselves to and supported the process of providing free civil legal services to indigent persons.
