Statement of Diversity Principles
In December 2003, the Association announced the adoption of the Statement
of Diversity Principles. The Statement, written by the Committee
to Enhance Diversity in the Profession is the most recent effort by the
Association to voice its commitment to foster a more diverse and inclusive
profession. To date, we have 130 signatories to
our Statement of Diversity Principles – 110 law
firms and 20 corporations
Diversity Champion Award
This year we salute four award winners recognizing
the critical role individuals have played in initiating and
sustaining in change their organizations and the
New York legal community.

Diversity Benchmarking Reports
The Office for Diversity annually tracks the progress of Signatory
law firms and law departments on key diversity representation
metrics.

Working
Group Sessions
Signatories are invited to attend regular sessions designed
to provide concrete tools to build an effective diversity
effort. To date, we have held 13 sessions.
